CEU Library
The CEU Library is a leading research and information center in the region, making use of all available means of information technology.
Established in 1992, the CEU Library is a modern English-language university library site.
Collections
- a fully searchable library catalogue
- over 255,000 documents in various formats
- some 150,000 catalogued items
- approximately 15,000 volumes of monographs awaiting cataloguing
- 1,000 periodical titles representing the mainstream of fields covered by the CEU curriculum
- over 10,000 papers, essays and research documents published by select academic and research institutions
The Library’s main responsibility is to serve the CEU community, but it is also open to the academic public (membership information).
The Library’s facilities:
- 2,000 square meters of open-access area
- four separate reading halls
- 50 computers with Internet access
- full WiFi coverage
- electronic databases
- Comprehensive collections in the fields of social sciences, philosophy, sociology, political science, international relations, legal studies, history, economics, business studies, gender studies, art and literature, medieval studies and environmental science.
Opening hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 to 22:00, Saturday, Sunday: 13:00 to 19:00
